Duodenal Varices

65 year-old man with portal hypertension as a result of colonic carcinoma metastatic to liver, presented with gastrointestinal bleeding manifested as melena (black, tarry stools). Endoscopy demonstrated varices in the esophagus, stomach and duodenum (shown here).
