Gastric Inflammatory Fibroid Polyp



54 year-old woman undergoing endoscopy for evaluation of anemia and occult gastrointestinal bleeding. Endoscopy revealed this sessile polyp in the antrum. Microscopically the lesion contained lymphocytes, fibroblasts, granulocytes and large numbers of eosinophils. No Helicobacter pylori were seen.
