hematemesis (vomiting blood), with a history of having undergone previous
subtotal gastrectomy for refractory ulcer disease. Endoscopy revealed two small
anastomotic ulcers, one of which had a small amount of oozing of blood.

subtotal gastrectomy for peptic ulcer disease. She continued to take large
amounts of aspirin for arthritis. Endoscopy demonstrated anastomotic ulceration,
involving both the afferent and efferent limbs of the gastrojejunostomy.
